What we saw on our walk today

Mommy took us on our favorite long walk today for the first time in a long time, so we had to smell everything to see who had been by, and what was going on in our world.

It is the end of maple sap gathering time, so we saw lots of sap collection buckets. There were the old-fashioned kind:
A combination of old and new:
Checking out the latest way to collect sap.
Mommy, can we have pancakes with maple syrup?

It looks more like you live in New Hampshire or Vermont instead of Taxachusetts. Maple syrup on pancakes is yimmy. Maybe the snow is done for the season now.
