Worried about Spencer

We just read the lastest post about Spencer the Mascot Dog, and we are very worried about him. He sounds very sick. Spencer was the first dog blogger we met, and we wanted to have our own blog after reading about him. Lots of our friends probably already know about him, but if not you can visit him at http://blog.stickerdog.com. Maybe if we all keep him in our thoughts it will help.

Fifth folder fun

Mason Dixie tagged us several days ago with the Fifth Folder game, but our Mommy has had the flu and hasn't been able to help us blog until today. When we looked, this is what we found.

The fifth folder only had 2 pictures. This was one, a picture of a blue jay Mommy took at her parents house when her digital camera was new and she was trying to see what it would do.
The first folder with 5 pictures in it had this picture of Mommy and Tucker looking goofy when he was about 9 months old.
We are not going to tag anyone specifically, but invite any of our friends who haven't done this to play along.

The Inaguration

Hi Everyone
Our friend Cathy, who we love, said we should post a picture of Tucker in his new star-spangled bandana in honor of the inauguration today.

Tucker for president?
Daisy says "What about me. Maybe Mr. Obama needs a tennis ring. He likes sports."

Even more snow

We got more snow last night. Mommy says she's sick of it, but she took us for a walk up in the woods this morning.
Mommy did think the trees looked pretty all covered in snow.

Tucker says, "I looked under all the snow to find something to bring you, Mommy, but there's nothing there."
Daisy says "Mommy said she saw bunny tracks, maybe I can see a bunny."

"Not over there."

"Maybe over this way."

Daisy and Mommy playing fetch.

We had one more good run before we went in the house and crashed.

We had fun in the snow and are going right back to sleep as soon as we finish this post.

Family Ties

Hello Friends

Tucker and Daisy here today. Leo is a pound kitty, so he doesn't know who his fur Mommy is, but our human Mommy tells us that she knows all about our family on the maternal side. We were born at Ox Kill Farm, in Schoharie, NY, bred by Mommy's friend Vicky McCaffrey. Mommy said she knew many of our relatives, starting with Spicy, who was Tucker's great, great, great grandmother. Then there was great great grandmother Sandy, great grandmother Satin and grandma Bug, pictured below to the right of Tucker when she was 16 years old. Buggy died a few months after this picture was taken. Tucker's mother was Bug's daughter Summer. Add one grand to each one for Daisy, who is the daughter of Tucker's sister Shamie. Our Mommy loved all the dogs when she first visited Ox Kill Farm.

Our Mommy says that Bug is the reason that she wanted to have us. When she was in graduate school, she lived at Ox Kill and she fell head over heels in love with Bug. She tried to kidnap her when she moved away, but didn't get away with it.
We still like to visit our friends and relatives at Ox Kill.
This is Daisy on the left with her half sister, Ox Kill Serendipity, known as Sera. They both have the same father, Davenport's Fourmal Attire. Just to confuse things, Sera is also Tucker's half sister, they have the same mother, Summer. Talk about confusing family relationships.
Daisy and Sera look very similar, and share a lot of characteristics. Daisy says "I am not sure I like that Sera, she acts like me, copydog, and my Mommy thinks she's cute, and I don't want to share my Mommy".
Hope you enjoyed our family album.

Leo the wannabe

Hi Everyone

Leo blogging today. My Mommy calls me a wannabe Golden Retriever. Maybe it is my stunning color, though the dogs don't have my fancy stripes. Maybe it is because I can play fetch just as well as Daisy, and better than Tucker, who likes to play keep away.

See how good I am. I can bring the ball back, every time.

I don't play as much as I used to, but I would always put the ball right in Mommy's hand when I was a kitten.

Hello

Tucker and Daisy's Mommy blogging today. We had snow over night, so Tucker, Daisy and I went for a walk this morning.

Or maybe a run. Especially if you are Daisy.

We rent a house on a 100 acre farm. This is looking back at our house from the top of the hill behind the house. Our landlords say we can walk the dogs where ever we want on the property.

We had a lot of tree damage during the big ice storm in the Northeast a few weeks ago.

Tucker in front of a very large downed tree.

Daisy with a stick to play with.

Daisy says "I love snow, Mommy."
Tucker looking for a stick.

So why is it that with all this land, and all these sticks from the downed trees, that Daisy wants every stick that Tucker finds, more than any she finds herself.
One of the mysteries of dogs, I guess.

"Mommy, it's cold outside, can we come in?"

"I will curl up under the blankie Mommy made me, and be nice and warm."

Hello

Leo posting today. Yesterday the dogs accused me of sleeping all the time. What do they expect, I am a cat. Since I am being accused of sleeping alot, let me give you a tour of the best places in our house to sleep. I am the expert, after all.

One of my favorites is the nice comfy rug in our bathroom.

Just the spot for a little snooze.

It's one of the warmest rooms in the house. I'm getting sleepy zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

The other great place to sleep is Mommy and Daddy's bed. Here I am before Mommy insists on making the bed. Soooo comfy.
After Mommy does make the bed, I can indulge in my new hobby of shedding on Daddy's new quilt Mommy made him.
The only problem with sleeping on the bed is that Mommy says I have to share with grumpy old Abby.

My favorite place of all to sleep in on the back of the couch when Mommy is watching TV. I can be close to her, snore in her ear, and poke her with my feet.
And what did the dogs do all day today? Laid around, complaining because it was raining, and Mommy wouldn't let them out in the yard to play, or take them for a walk, whatever that is.
So, who's the boring one who sleeps all day?

Snow

Hi Everyone

Tucker and Daisy posting today, Leo is too busy sleeping.

Cats, so boring.

We had such fun looking at Paco and Milo's snowy day, we thought we would post pictures of the snowy weekend we had before Christmas. We had so much fun playing in
the snow with our mommy. We love snow.

Here we are running on the hill behind our house.

Tucker taking a snow bath.

Daisy smiles for the camera.

Daisy says "Here I come, Mommy".

"What now, can I steal your mitten?"

Here are some videos of all our fun.

We were so tired we had to come inside and crash in our bed.

Daisy says "I am glad I have a nice warm Tucker to snuggle up to."

Hope we get more snow soon.
