Christmas Roundup

We have been enjoying seeing all of our friends Christmas loot and Christmas cards, so we thought we would show you ours.

Look at all this great stuff. Pork skin treats from our mom, berry treats- thank to the Luke, he sent us some and we found out how yummy they are, carrot treats from the same company, both from our human grandmother, and Puperoni and other good meaty treats from our good friend Cathy. Mommy says we didn't get any new stuffies or toys because we have too many already- of course we don't think so.

We were part of the DWB Christmas card exchange, which was so much fun. The next two pictures show all of the Christmas cards our family received. Daddy counted the other day and there were a total of 47. 7 were for Mommy and Daddy, the rest were for us. Thank you to friends old and new.

The weatherman is saying we might get snow for New Year's. We sure hope so. See you all next year.

Book Recommendation

Our Mommy is a librarian and today she was working with some books from the children's room at her library. She found a book there she had never seen before, so she took a moment to read it. Since we have all lost so many friends lately, she thought this was a wonderful book with a wonderful message. She urges you to go to your local library (shameless plug) or bookstore and have a look at this book. It is called Dog Heaven, by Cynthia Rylant. It has sweet pictures and a lovely view of what happens when our friends cross the bridge. If you click the link on the title it will take you to the Amazon.com listing. This is purely informational, we don't recommend Amazon over any other book seller or get anything for this, but they have good details about books.

We think Mommy should have brought it home to read to us for a bedtime story, but we were out of luck.

Wednesday question

We have a question for Khyra and our other Sibe pals. We love to run in the snow, can we be honorary Sibes?

A great day

What a great day we had. First we woke up to this. About 5 inches of snow. Mommy said this was a pretty snow.

Mom took us out to play in the snow.

Tucker was having fun looking for the perfect stick.

Daisy says, "What am I missing?"

Mom was getting ready to throw a snow ball in this shot. Daisy is ready.

Tucker after a good roll in the snow.

A little snowy bitey face.

After all our running around, we had to stop and work on the snowballs in our feet.

Then in the afternoon Mom took us to have our picture taken with Santa Paws. More on that later. She made us new scarves to wear in our picture.

Our friend Cathy met us when we went to see Santa. She brought us a pre-Christmas present.

It was a bag of T-Bonz treats. They are yummy, we give them 8 paws up. Thank you Cathy.
We are now sleeping off our day, but Mom spared us any more time with the flashy beast.

Our Sunday stroll

A couple pictures from our Sunday walk.

It was a very pretty day, we were happy to be out.
Tucker thought the pee-mail on this fern was very interesting.

Hope you all had a happy Sunday.

Mostly Wordless Wednesday- Silly Daisy

(Note from Mom: in her defense, she doesn't pick the toy up like this, but if we flip it up, she prances around like that.)

Good thoughts

Good morning, friends. Our good friend, the Luke, is having surgery today to check out a bump on his foot and some other suspicious lumps. I know it would mean a lot to him and his the Mom if you would pop over and show some support.

Mail from Augie and Ti

Mommy came in with the mail yesterday and said we had a package.

Daisy is so excited you almost can't see her.

Inside was a sheep and a nice note from Augie and Ti.

In case you can't read it, it says "Dear Daisy and Tucker, Mom said that anyone who loves their sheep as much as you ought to have a spare. Love, Augie and Ti."

Daisy is so excited about the new toy.

Daisy has the new one, and Tucker the old sheep.

Tucker gets a moment with both.

Here's our thank you video. Thanks so much Augie and Ti. We love you guys.

P.S. from Tucker and Daisy's mom- After Daisy had fun with the new sheep for a while, I hid it away so if the other one does come to a bad end, she has a new one, it is her favorite toy.
