Good news

Daisy is home from the hospital, and seems mostly to be her normal perky self, though she is resting now.  Just after eating the meal the vet said she should have when she got home, she passed a piece of corn cob about 2 inches long, as well as at least one smaller piece.  Hopefully that was all that was causing her problems and she will continue to improve.  Thank you for all the kind words and good thoughts.  We are so glad she didn't need surgery.

So sorry to hear about Miss Daisy! We don't get around to the blogs as often as we used to, so I was so worried when I saw she was sick :( Farley's Mom

Sounds like last week was intestinal blockage week at Tufts. Daisy and Mango were almost ships that passed in the night. Glad that pesky corn cob came out on its own. Amazing what these dogs can swallow. Back when Mango was a puppy (and before I was shamelessly photographing his every moment) I assisted him with passing a tube sock. Sheesh.

What a relief that no surgery was needed! I only wish I had had the opportunity to wish you and Daisy well before all of these symptoms and the vet appt happened!
