Nike has signed a new sponsorship deal with Michael Vick. See details here. http://m.apnews.com/ap/db_16006/contentdetail.htm?contentguid=bbdNpRzx
I know I will not be buying anything from them.
Tucker and Daisy's Mom
Update, 10/2/09. Nike now says they are not paying him a sponsorship fee or promoting products with his name, but only giving him free product. To me, that is still wrong, if he needs athletic gear, he or his team should pay, or it is still sponsorship, IMHO.

Pet Parade
Mommy took me to the Pet Costume parade at the local fair yesterday. She didn't make Tucker go this year, he really doesn't like dressing up.
Silly Mommy forgot to bring her camera for the actual parade part, so all you get are pictures of me in my Fairy Princess costume. Mommy made my dress, but not my wings. What do you think?
In this picture you can see my wand, which I will carry at home, but there are too many good smells at the fair, I kept dropping it.
Besides a couple of dressed up dogs, there was a pony, 2 calves and some goats in costume, as well as a chicken that walked on a leash, so we didn't win a trophy, but I got a participant ribbon.
And everyone told me I was cute, and petted me a lot, so I was happy.

Happy Day
So why do we have big smiles today? It's a good day in our corner of the blogosphere.
It was beautiful today in our neighborhood, so we got a nice long walk.
We got to check out all the pee-mail. There are not a lot of dogs that walk around here, but lots of coyotes, foxes, and other critters to check in with.
This is Kona. Why does he have such a big smile today?
Why don't you pop over to the Dog by Nature blog and hear his good news.
Also, we are happy to hear that our friend Farley decided to resume blogging. Yippee. We hear that Sophie-Lou and Augie and Ti had something to do with it. Good job, friends.

Waiting for walkies.
Take one
Take two
Take three- pretty good
Take four- looking at the camera. Daisy gets a little excited about walkies.
We saw this on our walk. We are not sure quite what it is. Mommy says maybe someday it will be a butterfly.

Embarrassing Friday.
We thought we would get in on Farley's Embarrassing Friday fun, but the stupid Internet connection wouldn't let us sneak it in until the very end of the day.
