Party time

Hi, bloggy friends. We missed you, but we have been in New York, back at the farm, partying with our relatives.

This a bunch of our brothers and cousins.
Tucker is on the left, and in the middle is our half-brother Fred. He has the same mother as Tucker and the same dad as Daisy. Isn't that confusing? We let the hounds come to the party even though they aren't Goldens, and they were lots of fun.

Mommy thought Fred was very handsome.
One more shot of Fred. Standing behind him is Summer, who is his and Tucker's mother.

The human is Fred's human mom, with Daisy closest to her, Fred in the middle and Fred's brother Barney in the green bandana. Barney was one of the only Goldens there who is not related to us.

One of the best part of the day was swimming in the pond. Daisy loves to swim.

Daisy and an unidentified relative had fun chasing tennis balls.

Tucker prefers to stay close to shore. He is standing next to our new friend Sierra, a little girl who loved us.

Mommy was happy to be on the farm because she loves horses. She wouldn't let us up on this wagon with her.
Here she is, driving the horse in the last picture.

They have lots of baby horses there, and after dinner, they all go out to pasture with their mommies.
This big guy is named Isaac, he is the father of many of the babies.

What a great weekend hanging out with friends and relations. Tucker is here on his leash with another little girl who love taking us for walks and runs.. We sure slept good that night.

We have been reading blogs a little, but not commenting much. We hope to catch up with everybody soon.

A weekend in the country

Well, okay, we live in the country all the time, but this weekend we went home to the farm where we were born with Mommy.
On Friday, Mommy left us home on the farm and went to help her friends show horses at the Saratoga County Fair. She saw this competition of six-horse hitches of draft horses.

These guys were the winners. They came all the way from Quebec to compete.

This is Ox Kill Spectacular. She is owned by Mommy's friends. She got a ribbon in her class.
This morning before we came home, we went for a nice walk. First we said hello to the horses on our way out.
It was a beautiful day.

We headed off down the road.

We saw a field full of sheep.

These guys are pretty big.
Lots of the farms were cutting hay.

Mommy thought we looked good in front of this old farm. She used to live here and pick berries in these fields.
We are having a rest before walking home.
When we were almost back to the house, Mommy let us off leash. Daisy loves to run, run, runnnn!!!!
Back at the farm, sitting on the door step, we are pooped.
We had so much fun, we are going back this weekend for a big party and doggie family reunion. Can't wait.

Stylin'

Farley and his mom sent us some cool ties.
Daisy has the obvious choice

Tucker is honoring our fondness for Ray Allen of the Boston Celtics.

Don't we look sharp?
Thanks Farley and Traci. We love them.

This and That

Tucker's ears
It's been raining a lot here, so I have been roaching in the wet grass a lot
Mommy loves how my ears dry, like they have been through the crimping iron.
Hope it doesn't make me look too girly.

Daisy takes her carrying things very seriously. Mommy won't let her take her toys on walkies, so she has resorted to finding her own things to carry, like this nice chunk of bark.

Have a great weekend, everyone.

Tucker's Day Out

Mommy took me to see bicycle races yesterday.

We walked quite a long way to get to the races, so my tongue was hanging out when we got there, but we sat in the shade and rested for a while.
This is the professional men warming up for their race.

This is near the end of the race, this poor guy was last most of the way. We never did see how he finished.

I had a great day hanging out with Mommy.
